If you are passionate about music, and seek a community of like-minded individuals BMA is the place for you!
What we stand on.
At BMA, everything we do is guided by seven pillars:
Respect, Transparency, Musical & Technical Excellence, Renewal of the Mind Daily, Innovation, Tenacity, and Consistency.
These aren't just words—they're how we teach, how we connect, and how we help you grow into the artist you're meant to be.
Meet Samantha
Soprano. Violinist. Founder.
I'm Samantha Burke, and my team and I created Burke Music Academy with one clear vision: to build the Southeast's only accredited conservatory that trains emerging artists at the highest level and connects them to a real career in music—paid performances, career development, and everything in between.
We train the whole artist. At BMA, we don't separate your artistry from your humanity. Rigorous technical training is integrated with performance psychology, nervous system regulation, and sustainable practice habits—through workshops, mentorship, and applied exercises—so you leave skilled, resilient, and professionally prepared.
The person behind this place. My path as an award-winning principal artist and over a decade of performing and teaching shaped this philosophy. I'm also a mother of three adopted children, raised in a vibrant South American family—and yes, devoted caretaker to a very sassy cat. I lead with discipline and humanity, excellence and empathy.
Rooted in tradition. In voice, I draw from the García–Marchesi tradition, emphasizing efficient vocal production and longevity. In violin and piano, I prioritize foundational technique built through critical thinking, body awareness, and musical intention.
